Christmas has come and gone...and now here we go right into 2007! Woo Hoo!

I'm showing my latest design, "I'm S'mitten with you". I did this design for Wichelt Imports and it appeared on the back cover of Just Cross Stitch Magazine's latest release! Best part for you the stitcher is that it is a "FreeBee" pattern. It was stitched with Northern Lights (silk) from Needlepoint, Inc and Rainbow Gallery's wisper. There are two charms from Mill Hill along with Mill Hill's wonderful frame! It is a quick stitch and has the wonderful wintery love!

Well, I am getting ready for San Diego. Only a few short days a way and lots to do! The TRIOs first release is out - "L". Also "Blue Bonnet"...

Have a wonderful New Years! Hope to see some of you in San Diego!

Many Blessings,

Paula :)

Giving - the best part

Zan Frederickson of Hope International Adoption shared this picture with me of the fund raising event the charity had just recently in Dallas. This gift basket features my sunflower design, "Bloomin' Smiles" and my sunflower notecards inside. You can find out more about this group at http://www.hopeadoption.org/ .

My hope is that my small contribution made a big impact in the life of child somewhere...

Have a blessed day!

Painting, Sewing, a regular Santa's workshop

We had quite a little cold snap just last week. It was just what I needed to put me into the Holiday spirit!

New Trios for 2007! This is BIZZI's first monthly series! Each month there will be a design featuring a new letter of the alphabet. January is featuring "L" for Laugh, Love, Live. The design is stitched with three colors of Needlepoint Ink Silk. Each month there will be a coordinating fun finishing idea from Trail Creek Farm. So - these will start to ship soon...

The "Bistro" painting was my first experiment painting watercolor on the new watercolour canvas. I like this part of the painting (other half not shown). But close up shows all the little textures of the canvas and I'm not sure I like it.

Well, working on Christmas Cards and have several done, but a few to finish up... then punching models for my "Cat on a Stick" class for San Diego. I will also be teaching the same class at Nashville in February!

Back to it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

During this time I like to make my "thankful for..." list. I am so blessed to have people that enjoy my art and designs. I am so appreciative to the opportunity that affords me. It is an awesome responsibility that I do not take lightly. This past year has been a trial in many ways in my life. I have had the opportunity to renew my interest in all things creative. I hope that what you see in 2007 is a reflection of all things new and reflective of the inspiration that grew.
Many Blessings to you and yours!
Sincerely,
Paula

Happy Halloween

The latest news at BIZZI...
The Online Needlework Show was wonderful. It was great to see such interest in our new designs. The new designs are going to our distributors today so they should have them up in the next week or so. I wanted to give intro the new designs at the show first. I also have a new freebee design. It is not up on the website yet, but I will mail it to you if you send a self-addressed stamped envelope. :)

The cooler weather has finally arrived and I just love it! We do not get the changing of the leaves quite like other areas, but the cooler temperatures are a welcome relief as is the rain (which we did without for many, many days - our lakes show it.) I just loving sewing when the weather gets cooler. Hopefully you do too! I have been looking through my stash and priortizing my projects with the holidays and some were released a bit late...better than never!

I am also focusing my energy now on my custom Christmas Cards, which are cards that have a custom painting on the front featuring something of your business or personal liking. The inside has your custom greeting and signatures. The back features your business information somewhat like a business card. It is always a fun project for me and hopefully it makes the cards a little more special.

Well, enjoy the cooler weather (or warmer weather depending upon where you are on the globe). As Halloween nears, decidely my favorite holiday of the year, enjoy the fun and laughter that it brings.

Happy Sewing or painting!
