Finishing on a Stick

I did a class at both TNNA and Nashville on finishing on a stick. Right now all three designs are punchneedle, but watch - as they will become available in cross stitch. Kits are available for the stick, trim, backing fabric, embellishments. That will be applicable for both punch or cross stitch.

Oh and by the way, the Witch's Hat does glow in the dark...the bat and circles around the orange polka dots. Very fun!

Have a wonderful day!

Queens of the House

Well, Ms. Elsie, the one on the right, was very helpful this weekend. I received some wonderful samples of thread while at TNNA San Diego...and Elsie decided that they were her new toys. Yes, she loves them. I am hoping to have fun with them soon, but have to hide them until I have time or I think I will have lost ownership of the thread. Knickers, the one on the left is Elsie's mom. She has decided with the cooler weather that my pillow on my bed is the "place" to be. They are quite the muse. Love them both dearly...and they are often my inspiration.

I'm working on stuff for Nashville which is sooo soon!

We had a beautiful day today...a grand change from the ice, snow and rain we have had the last week.

Christmas has come and gone...and now here we go right into 2007! Woo Hoo!

I'm showing my latest design, "I'm S'mitten with you". I did this design for Wichelt Imports and it appeared on the back cover of Just Cross Stitch Magazine's latest release! Best part for you the stitcher is that it is a "FreeBee" pattern. It was stitched with Northern Lights (silk) from Needlepoint, Inc and Rainbow Gallery's wisper. There are two charms from Mill Hill along with Mill Hill's wonderful frame! It is a quick stitch and has the wonderful wintery love!

Well, I am getting ready for San Diego. Only a few short days a way and lots to do! The TRIOs first release is out - "L". Also "Blue Bonnet"...

Have a wonderful New Years! Hope to see some of you in San Diego!

Many Blessings,

Paula :)

Giving - the best part

Zan Frederickson of Hope International Adoption shared this picture with me of the fund raising event the charity had just recently in Dallas. This gift basket features my sunflower design, "Bloomin' Smiles" and my sunflower notecards inside. You can find out more about this group at http://www.hopeadoption.org/ .

My hope is that my small contribution made a big impact in the life of child somewhere...

Have a blessed day!
